Building Information Modelling

BIM or Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a process for generating and managing information on a construction project across the project lifecycle. BIM is an intelligent 3D model-based procedure that gives architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals, the tools as well as awareness to plan, design, construct and manage the construction of buildings and overall infrastructure in an effective manner.

One of the significant outcomes of the process of BIM is the digital description of each and every aspect of the built asset, thatis called the Building Information Model, which draws on information gathered collectively and updated at key stages of a project.

This model-based design concept enables the buildings to be built virtually before they get built out in the field. Moreover, this process also assists in organizing the complete integration of all the relevant factors in the building lifecycle, which helps in strengthening the interaction between the entire design team of Averox Infrastructure.

There are various applications of BIM that make it important and functional by the following groups:

  • Construction Management
  • Sustainability
  • Road Construction
  • Property Management
  • Structures
  • MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing)
